About
My name is Josiah and I'm a programmer living in the Bay Area. I was inspired to create drawing apps on the iPhone while watching drawing on giant touch screens during the coverage of the 2008 US Primaries. That spark grew into what might be the first drawing web app on the iPhone: iDoodle. When the app store opened iDoodle2 was there with iDoodle2lite soon to follow. Since then both Zombies and doing arts and crafts in elementary school have provided inspiration for new apps.
The Original iDoodle
The original iDoodle web app was written in javascript and used HTML canvas element to allow users to create and save drawings on the iPhone before the app store was opened. This may have been the first drawing application on the iPhone.
